![]() ![]() I am starting to fear it's a GPU hardware related issue rather than a software issue and I am looking for any final leads before being forced to upgrade my GPU. SADLY, the issue still persists and my games sometimes keep crashing or making my monitor flicker after PC been in sleep mode until I restart my PC. ![]() So after thinking I got onto the problem and I assumed some faulty stubborn old driver files haven't got uninstalled, I decided to format my PC and upgrade it to win 11. If the PC has been freshly booted the issue won't occur up to the moment the PC has been into sleep mode and got woken up. Recently after my PC has been into sleep mode my whole GPU drivers would crash when I opened a game (every game I entered froze before reaching the main menu and made my GPU drivers to reboot themselves, it keeps happening until I restart my PC.) I discovered that both issues only happens after the PC has been into sleep mode for several hours. It started to happen a few weeks or couple of months after I upgraded my monitor to 144hz one, but I don't think the monitor is the problem. It usually flickers for a brief moment, than turns black for 2-5 seconds and turns on back normally.Īfter messing around with settings, trying to uninstall drivers with DDU, using CRU to change the adaptive freesync rate, turning off freesync, trying different versions of drivers and even playing on less than 144hz, the problem kept persisting. Sometimes it occurres every 5 minutes, and other times it could happen once in 2-3 hours. A while ago my 144hz monitor started flickering and going black (only while gaming) randomly. ![]()
